I just picked up the last one there in Argos Galway! Showed my email and the screenshot of the price. She apologised saying the reason I didn't get a code in the email was because they didn't have any in stock "but hold on and I'll just check the computer".

Last one in stock at 31.99!

What exactly did I just buy? :-P

Well done... Like i said earlier... Its worth checking in store... The online stock checker has been wrong before!

I have a reservation code which indicated the product would be available for collection sometime from Thursday until Saturday (this week) and that I would receive a further email or text. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Anyone has a screenshot of that offer with the price of 32EUR?
    Can you please post it?

I have attached photos of this unit from when i opened it up today

My plan is to replace the 500gb drive in it with a 2TB.

I used a plastic case opener tag to pop the multiple case catches on the cover (it doesn't have any screws) with success and no tag or case damage. A paper backed foil protects the back of the circuit board and it has a sticky back foil attached to the drive itself.

Four screw hold the drive to the board and a small clip needs to be lifted to release the battery cable.

Dont forget if you go and change the drive, copy the entire 500gb drive files to the new drive. This would also be an indestructible wifi drive if you put a SSD into it, but i have a 2 5 inch 2tb already so im going to use that.

Here lads , if there anybody like me who was having problems in getting it set up here a bit of a guide a such . This device is suppose to stream to chromecast but it dosent work that well , However if you want to get it to work as a typical network drive( like the old days where you plugged in a cat 5 into the back of it) this is the way to go

    fúck the website upload ****e.

    Windows:
go to a laptop and wireless connect to it.
In the top right corner hit the wifi logo .
Login to your home wifi and select remember and auto connect
You may want to have a password on the wireless hard drive , but ...
you can now go back and select the wifi you normally connect to (upc , eircom, sky routers)
Right , Now. go to your laptop or desktop
open computer and select Map Network drive
Select a character, I selected W for wifi , but it dosent matter
    Hit browse.
You should see somthing called wireless-D74
hit the dropdown icon and select the first folder name Public-01
hit okay and away you go. it now can be used like an usb hard drive or C drive

You can you the app called seagate media to browser file and videos, Just chromcasting doesn't work well.

Linux/Ubuntu: I havent gotten a chance to get it on linux yet But will look into it if there are linux user who want to get that working and dont know how

Mac: Please go to http://www.amazon.co.uk/ and buy yourself a real operating system thank you

    Thanks Jack.

I used your screen grab to pickup one of these in Limerick today. I reserved it last Friday but obviously the price had increased today when I went to collect it.

After a bit of a discussion with the CS girl, she got someone to change the price back to €31.99. All very pleasant, only took a few minutes.

Thanks again to the OP and Jack.

Edit: I don't think its any use going in tomorrow with the screen grab as the price went up yesterday, apparently. I had mine reserved since Friday.

Showed the email and out the door with it :D
    Well done Argos:)

Hiya, by any chance did you source a mains lead for this? Pretty pointless having to bring a laptop, kinda defeats the object. Thanks fur the tutorial BTW! Haven't even opened it yet!
