TuneIn left a picture of Marty Whelan on my lockscreen after I was listening to Lyric the other morning. That's just not on :o

I've never seen that and something tells me I should avoid googling it!

Can anyone recommend a good twitter client. Used the official one ages ago and didn't like it so have been using carbon. I like it but just wonder is there something better?

    Thanks
    Gar

I just recently switched to Falcon Pro 3 (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jv.materialfalcon) and I really like it. Really good UI. Only 2 negatives, being that it's a paid for app, and it's not brilliant if you want to read your stream live...

I have falcon pro 3 installed too but I reverted to the previous version as #3 doesn't have a widget yet. I have tried quite a few twitter clients and falcon is my favourite.

Or maybe you're just another of those Chinese gadget site shills trying to boost your post count with inane comments in every section of boards before you start peddling your wares. Enjoy the ban.

    Games people playing now?

I finished Odd Bot Out, great little game. Played Badlands and enjoyed it. Didn't pay for it as €6 seem steep. Started 80 Days but couldnt get into it. Got Hitman GO for cheap and that was good enough.

Galaxy on Fire 2 was the last good game I played, ridiculously good fun for an android game once you get past the cheesy intro, loved upgrading my ship and all that, its got me craving a proper pc space sim like Elite now.

Feck all good games out there atm, anything with a bit of potential is ruined by pay-to-win and in-app transactions..

Monument Valley, but it's ridiculously short

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,366 ✭✭✭✭Thargor

Monument Valley is an overrated gimmick.

Repetitive, all luck and no skill. Avoid.

Valiant hearts. Its not cheap and I've only started playing it but I'm finding it very enjoyable.

Played Monument Valley and really liked it.
Two Dots was fun for a little bit then just got repetitive
Valiant Hearts looks like it could be fun, crazy expensive though!!

Valiant Hearts..... €14.99 .... Sorry but I'm not forking out that much no matter how good it is!

I've just realized that it's split into "episodes". It's €4.50 for the first one (which I got for free). It's good but I won't be paying €15 for it either.

Is that K9?? or is there another one? I use K9 it is OK, totally pissed off with the replacement of the older mail app by gmail, typical Goggle arrogance.

No, it's different. K9 is good but the look of it drove me mad.

I used Financius for a while and found it very good. I had to add a lot of extra categories to it though.
