Sorry I am a bit dim today...how does this work?

So Amazon more than likely will do free delivery once its in Germany, and this company will provide a delivery address, and then forward on the package to you in Ireland at a cheaper rate offered, correct?

Very good I would say if you wanted to consolidate a few packages

Thats pretty much how it works. If Amazon.de wont ship to Ireland, you could get it shipped to mailbox.de for free (potentially) and then pay them the cost to deliver it to Ireland. Handy if A) They wont ship directly to Ireland, or B) if they do ship, but it works out cheaper this way.

I do the same with parcel motel. I even got some stuff off amazon.es shipped to my UK parcel motel address for €4, and then another €4 to use parcel motel. Postage from amazon.es directly to Ireland was €9 or so.
