Just wanted to know what everyone is doing with the exchange rate been absolutely crap buying from the UK. I mainly use Amazon.co.uk but the rate is just getting to expensive to make it worth my while buying anything from the UK. Where is the next best place to order? For example, recently I wanted to buy a set of spanners…

Thats pretty much how it works. If Amazon.de wont ship to Ireland, you could get it shipped to mailbox.de for free (potentially) and then pay them the cost to deliver it to Ireland. Handy if A) They wont ship directly to Ireland, or if they do ship, but it works out cheaper this way.

I do the same with parcel motel. I even got some stuff off amazon.es shipped to my UK parcel motel address for €4, and then another €4 to use parcel motel. Postage from amazon.es directly to Ireland was €9 or so.
