Where to park near O'Connell Bridge?

Hi folks,

I'm travelling up to Dublin tomorrow to do some work. The location is right next to O'Connell Bridge (on the monument side of the river) and I need to be there at 9.30. Just wondering where is the best place to park around there? I'll be carrying lots of gear so the nearer the better, and I'll need to be there for about 6 hours.

Any recommendations?

Thanks Mr. Morgan. There's nothing closer by any chance? I'm just conscious of all the gear I'll be lugging from my car.

thats the closest car park you will get. Its all buslanes there and no other parking...it will deffo be a bit of a trudge unless you can get a space on the back lane (North Lotts area)...there may be still some places there...but you wouldnt get them at 9,30 if there were!

not that i can see average, plus if you are getting there for 9.30, make sure to leave extra early

Thanks for all the info guys. One more question. I'll be leaving from Galway tomorrow morning. Thing I'm worried about is traffic heading into Dublin at that hour.

How long do you think I should leave to get there? How long would it take to get to O'Connell bridge from say, the Lucan Spa Hotel?

well if you need to be at the place at 9.30 you want to be in lucan by 8 at latest. If you want to be parked and with your gear at the spot...i would be getting in much earlier...
