New Engine in 02 Opel Corsa Comfort

Hi everybody, I have a 1L Opel Corsa comfort and the timing chain went in it last week. So I am looking at getting a new engine for my Corsa and am curious would I be able to put a 1.2 liter engine in my Corsa that originally had a 1 liter engine?

its possible but not straight forward. You'll need to swap over the gearbox as the ratios would be different. You'll need to replace the ecu and wiring loom also. At a guess I'd say the engine mounts should line up but there's no guarantee. To be honest easiest thing is to drop the same engine in it, sell it and buy a 1.2 version
