Baxi Solo Possible Pump Issue

My heating has broken down, the boiler is a baxi solo, the overheat light is on, manual says turn the temp control down and it should reset it after ten minutes, it doesnt reset it until much longer than that, but it does seem to reset eventually when it cools down.

Some one has suggested to me either the circuit is blocked or maybe the pump isnt working, i think maybe its the pump as the pipes get hot for a short distance after it leaves the boiler, maybe from expanding hot water? And the pump was checked and it seemed stiff, but I was told it might be a cheaper part inside, what is this and how much would it be?

How much is it to replace a pump, I just searched on here and saw someone said they get pumps for 40 or 50 euro? Is that possible? The valves on either side leaked a bit when it was checked and an attempt was made to check the pump the valves were difficult to open again even though they werent opened or closed before

How much might this cost to repair if this is the problem?

If the pump valves work it's a straight swap. Most pumps are in the region of €75-120 depending on make and if they're high efficiency.Labour around €60-80.
If the pump valves don't hold then you have the pump a new set of valves and around €120-€160 in labour

pump could/should have been checked without touching the dreaded pump valves!! if they dripping now they will need to be replaced
