Its going to cost 1 billion to pay the banks back in Europe?
But why don't they use the 1 billion euro to save the starving people in other countries?, or at very least put some money into permanent water pumps in South Africa, so the people there will at least have some water.

Like, come on. think about it. all this business stuff, all this politics, its like we're going back in time. we humans are monsters. more monstrous than the Dinosaurs, at least we have brains to control our selves, and yet we are so destructive and greedy, only thinking about our selves. even me I'm a worthless human. not everyone is, but a lot of them are, 99% of them are in power.

what will happen in the future? to people?. we think we have it bad in the west, at least we can stay alive, what about all the suffering around the world. and we have to pay back the banks?. what if we all SAY NO, don't pay the banks and come up with one billion euro to save the dying people of starvation and need of water.
and its the least among us that make their way to the top, the ones at the top would be afraid of a tiny Dinosaur.

There are 8+ Billion people in the world.

If you divided all the food equally everyone would starve.

While you are sitting there with your altruistic cap on you are typing on a plastic keyboard made by penniless children in Bangledesh protected by immigration laws that put simply mean, you want to live here? With us? And eat our food and live like us? No, sorry. Economic Migrants not allowed. You go starve with your own kind but feel free to buy our guns to kill each other with while you fight over whoring your natural resources to the West.

That's why people buy shoes and Disney toys made by exploited kids.

It's all out of sight out of mind and we can throw a few quid in the Trocaire Box or buy a bum a sambo every once in a while and assuage our guilt.

So take you altruism elsewhere you god damn hippy and get with the programme or move to the third world and dine on your morals.

    You Pig.

The problem is a lot more complex than that. There are major social problems and corruption issues in many of the poorest countries of the world which can't be solved with money. Until corruption is eradicated and people are educated on birth control and efficient farming methods, starvation will always be a thing.

yeah, it can't be solved by money. but money can at least help the people.

it starts with each person opening their hearts, and its the ones at the top that seriously need to do that.

I know I can't say much but man it is what it is ,

    Makes no sense.

Food distribution is already unequal, and human starvation has become extremely rare.

Improving equality of access to food would not result in more starvation.

I still disagree with the OP, mind.

The portion of our national debt that is related to banking debt is approximately €64 billion.

    Hi,
    May I ask you please,
How can I improve myself please?

    Thanks.

My point was just a example, edit/add/remove your own opinion to help the starving people.

Figures on a screen are far more important to a lot of people than the lives of strangers in a far off country. Such is the way it has been for hundreds of years. This is why so many have been killed over money and homelessness exists. We've brainwashed ourselves into thinking that money is the most important thing in the world and due to the masses believing this, it's nearly impossible for an individual not to rely on money. It's a vicious circle really.

its far worse than you'd think

whatcha going to do ? give the 805 million a euro n a bit each ?
The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization estimates that about 805 million people of the 7.3 billion people in the world, or one in nine, were suffering from chronic undernourishment in 2012-2014.

Nope, you are completely wrong. Europe alone produces enough food to supply the entire world.

So, will people in the west ever in the future live from the hearts? or will we destroy others and our selves? and of course will we humans in the west destroy mother earth?

Was thinking there printing money (QE) is that a bad thing?

Do they create more money every year anyways??

Population is increasing so that means the current money in the world is stretched thinner meaning people have less.

we humans are monsters. more monstrous than the Dinosaurs...

Dinosaurs weren't monstrous at all. They were just animals, no more monstrous than say... dogs?

    well said.

just like we humans think of aliens destroying mother earth and everything, don't you see? WE ARE THOSE ALIEN MONSTERS. not all humans are, but there's a high % and they're up at the top doing it.

If you divided all the food equally everyone would starve.

This is actually untrue, strictly speaking

I dunno how true the idea of EU producing enough food but wouldn't that be due to different climates producing different foods?
