:pac: my orders are normally around 12 working days. You should check that out.

To be fair, their customer service is pretty good when dealing with issues or complaints. You can contact them on the 'your orders' page.

have you had any trouble with customs using fastec also have you bought an y liquid

Nah, theyre very snakey with customs. They undervalue the items and mislabel them. i.e. 'electrical component' for an iStick and a value of maybe €12 for €35.

Have made 5 orders, all delivered fairly snappy and no issues.

Haven't ordered liquid from them, though others on here do and seem happy enough.

I normally order 20 30ml bottles of Liqua juice in batches of 5,this means 4 different orders,no point putting all your eggs in one basket.
Normally takes about 4 to 5 weeks but worth the wait.
When I order other stuff,I only order one thing per order, this way if something goes missing, then it's no big deal.

Always always always upgrade your postage option to swisspost or one of the other 'two week' type options. For around $1 more its so worth it.

    UPDATE
I don't know why but even though I ordered on 27november the package wasn't posted until feb7(I've seen the package in all it's glory in a pic they show on options track package page) it now says its posted to country or choice. IE. just wont let me track it any more than that! Plus the site is now close for Chinese New Year. So,here's hoping it won't be too much longer(I really really need that blue screwdriver) lol

Thats a bad delay, what were you ordering?
Another tip with FT is to only add stuff to basket thats shipping next day.

I disagree, Singpost always delivers to me, for free, in about 12 working days. Brilliant.

It took exactly 3 weeks for something to go from "Despatched to country code: ie" to get to my door via Singapore post. That was a touch over a month from when I actually placed the order. General Reddit wisdom is that Singapore post is the worst options, slowest and with the least detailed tracking information.

Was 12 working days or quicker for me on 5 occasions now with Singpost. Tracking is fine.

I decided to spent an extra $1 on half of my last order (split order) to go with TNT. Was delivered only two days faster than Singpost (half the split order), worse tracking.

No point wasting your money but each to their own.

That is literally the only report of good service from them I've ever heard.

Sing post always works best for me and best tracking.

It's the wrong time of year to be looking for anything from China and it will take at least another month before things start to return to normal.
Overall my experience with FT has been very good.
I made my first order with them mid March last year and 24 pages of orders later I'm still happy with them,
you just have to know how to separate things that will ship together and figure out which carrier is best at a certain time.

Ordered with them on 06/02/2015, shipped on 10/02/2015 and delivered today. Swiss post but that's the general delivery time for anything I ordered with whichever option I go with.

There's 2 great places you should try if you get here can't think of there names one does its own type of poultry coated in a herby spicy wheat product similar to flour mmmm. The other one does beef ground up and shaped into a disc on a bready type roll/bun. They both do a local speciality of potato like root veg. cut and fried in oil. You can also drive to the restaurant and order through a window

Do they do that tube of porkmeat (or miscellaneous meat) thats dipped in a flour based coating then deep fried?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 513 ✭✭✭nuttyboy79

    Nope thats another place nearby

    Then I'd go there instead.
Especially if they make those flat roundish patties of root vegetable that are dipped in the same flour based coating and deep fried.

the postage on Sing Post used to be good (delivery 6/7 days after getting dispatched to overseas on the tracking) but seems to have gone to shyte in the last while (well before the Chinese New Year). is another method preferred at the moment?

have liqua stopped selling on fasttech (as they seem to be out of stock at the mo on everything liqua)? or is it just a Chinese New Year thing?

They come in and out of stock a lot from what I've seen couldn't tell you how often though.

The last lot of Liqua I got was in Sept, they haven't restocked yet, when they do restock, you need to be quick,a day or two & they are gone again for another 4 months, used to be 3 times a year they would restock,so it is close to it now, just need to check every day,I'll let you all know when they have arrived & vice versa.
