Don't try to do anything quicker than you can do it. If you need time, take the time.

Stupid people seem to be happiest for some reason.

Some people hit every branch as they fall down outa the unlucky tree they were born in, into a cesspool of excrement which after futile attempts to survive they eventually die with a lungful of ****e. Count your blessings!

“The world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down, around and around, it has thrills and chills, and it's very brightly colored, and it's very loud, and it's fun for a while. Many people have been on the ride a long time, and they begin to wonder, "Hey, is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and say, "Hey, don't worry; don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride." And we … kill those people. "Shut him up! I've got a lot invested in this ride, shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry, look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real." It's just a ride. But we always kill the good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok … But it doesn't matter, because it's just a ride. And we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. Just a simple choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.”

Youve got a finite amount of time, fill it with as much activity and exploration as you possibly can.

Don't chase fulfillment, just try to live and you'll find it along the way.

Personally I found having personal responabilty and getting rid of the notion that some guy that lives In a mystical realm has given us list of things we should and should not do, and if we cross him and disobey his commandments we are sent to hell for all eternity to burn and suffer the torments inflicted by Satan until the end of time!!!!

But he loves you! He loves you and need your money!!!!!

I was talking to to 19 year old Mormons at my home (as an atheist I relish the chance to test their faith!!) I was shocked at how serious they were about the most absurd notions yet they did seem happy, although I was never as happy debunking their theories that evolution never occurred and informing them Joseph Smith was a convicted Charlatan!
Although Islamic Suicide bombers may feel fulfilled and happy to know they will be promised 72 Virgins when they become Martyrs!

We spend a lot of our time in our places of work - too long for you to not enjoy it.

If you're not even somewhat passionate about what you do, get out! GET OUT NOW!

Retrain, study, do something and wield another path...

...I will think about my own advice...

A fulfilled life is having your basic needs met, with a large serving of self-awareness and self-actualisation on top.

Agree, this is the basic theory behind Maslow's basic hierarchy of needs.

France does some things well including their limits on working hours.
Work hard, sure... Play hard also.

    I know :)

I'd be more inclined to think the expanded 8-point version of the hierarchy is more on the money for fulfillment.

Funbags, dirty pillows, rib cushions, sweater puffs, tom toms, snuggle pups, padding balloons, meat loaves.

    Mammaries, is what I'm saying.

    Define self awareness.

    Interesting first post.

    Define self awareness.

Commonly defined as an awareness of and deep understanding of one's personal motivations, character, emotions, preferences and needs.
    Interesting first post.

    Isn't it though.
