Dell laptop latitude, connect to hdm1, no signal

    Hi. I have connected cable to both, restarted both, but no output on TV. Have selected project etc from laptop settings. What am I doing wrong?

    Can you confirm cable is working. If you plug in cable while TV is on does it indicate in anyway that it detects an incoming signal? Have you TV set to correct input source?

    Yes to both. Worked on another tv, different laptop. And source is right too. I think the laptop is the issue, but can't seem to amend it to see the tv
