    Bobby goldsboro......"honey"
T'was a long time ago but even as a kid you could tell that song was pure ****e

Most hated song of the great Al Bundy from Married with Children. He once referred to is as "Bobby Goldsboro's musical sphincter lock'".:D

Can't be much worse than the death metal so beloved of a certain contingent of posters here. It's the type of 'music' that could damage your cognitive abilities if listened to for too long.

Probably a good thing for this thread that i am one of the few here that actually understands the text :D

Dutch? Nothing to do with them.

It's the Danish and Norwegians who should hag their heads in shame about that "song"!.

Yeah, original song was by Danish.

Dutch version is a piss take on the original.

Gangnam style has to get this particular accolade.

Had on that Louise Duffy show the other day and my God it was wall to wall awful shít. Some decent (usually older) stuff, but the recent music was woeful. I normally don't really concentrate on what they play on the radio, its just background noise while Im working but after hearing the 3rd or 4th consecutive song where the same lyric is repeated a dozen times to a backing of electronic noise, I just stopped what I was doing and had to change the station.

    Mmm, yeah yeah yeah
    Oh yeah, yeah yeah
    Oh life, oh life

    I'm afraid of the dark
Especially when I'm in a park
And there's no one else around
    Ooh, I get the shivers

    I don't want to see a ghost
    It's a sight that I fear most
I'd rather have a piece of toast
    And watch the evening news

Life, oh life, oh life, oh life
    Doo, doo doo doo
Life, oh life, oh life, oh life
    Doo, doo doo doo

    I'm a superstitious girl
I'm the worst in the world
    Never walk under ladders
    I keep a rabbit's tail

I'll take you up on a dare
    Anytime, anywhere
Name the place, I'll be there
    Bungee jumping, I don't care

Life, oh life, oh life, oh life
    Doo, doo doo doo
Life, oh life, oh life, oh life
    Doo, doo doo
    Life, doo, doo doo
    Doo, doo doo

So after all is said and done
I know I'm not the only one
    Life indeed can be fun
    If you really want to

    Sometimes living out your dreams
Ain't as easy as it seems
You wanna fly around the world
    In a beautiful balloon

Life, oh life, oh life, oh life
    Doo, doo doo doo
Life, oh life, oh life, oh life
    Doo, doo doo doo

Life, oh life, oh life, oh life
    Doo, doo doo doo
Life, oh life, oh life, oh life
    Doo, doo doo doo

    Doo, doo doo doo
    Doo, doo doo doo
    Doo, doo doo doo
    Doo, doo doo doo
    Doo, doo doo doo
    Oh life, oh life

Oh life, oh life, oh life, oh life
Oh life, oh life, oh life, oh life

This just in: New song is not compulsory listening. And coming up after the break in our new series on first world problems: Expert's advice is to listen to songs you like. Don't listen to songs you don't like.

Sometimes it's impossible to avoid songs you hate thanks to mainstream radio being played in just about every shop, store, cafe and restaurant in the country. An example would be that horribly dull Ed Sheeran song that's doing the rounds atm. I just can't seem to escape it.

I can understand the text, for the most part.

It's much better that the English version.

It really is awful. It sounds more like something the Black Eyed Peas and Bob Geldof would come out with.

    Dissapointed Paul!!!!

Wish he would stop embarrassing The Beatles ;)

I heard Eiffel 65, 'I'm Blue' on the radio again today. Probably not the absolute worst but not far off imo

One thing I could never understand is the love for the original boy band, The Beatles, they were sh1te imo, but put a pompous overrated pain in the aras aka Paul McCartney, with the 2 biggest cnuts in showbiz today, they are a far cry from the genius of queen or Pink Floyd, a little puppy dies somewhere every time this sh1t is played on the radio

yea but you have to take into account that The Beatles began in the early 1960s and developed their sound quite a lot throughout albums. They created a lot and influenced and were the first for a lot.

Pink Floyd didn't get together until 1965 and a lot of the sid barrett stuff (whilst i personally like this) is very different to their later stuff.

Queen also a great innovative band but didn't even form until 10 years after the Beatles in 1970.

The "boy band" argument doesn't hold up in this context I'm afraid, The Beatles and The Kinks may have been considered boy bands at the time but it's completely different to the manufactured, highly marketed boy bands of the past 20 years. If you want to compare Revolver or Magical Mystery Tour to the latest One Direction album, you're not going to get too many people who argree with you.

As for "a far cry from the genius of queen or pink floyd"? Jesus wept.

The way this song sticks into your head makes it the worst song ever.

I have to agree that this is the worst, even when listening to it directly (as opposed to stuck in your head). This is music to slit your wrists to.

Boy bands are boy bands, whatever era they were in, and bad and all as one direction are I find their music on a par with the nonsense the beatles produced

Pink floyd and Queen werent genius music makers??? You'll find plenty to disagree with you on that as well

So the radio was on there and I heard this song that was ****ing awful and then they said after that it was Rihanna,Kanye West and Paul McCartney,do you know this one? It's so ****ing ****, a new low.

    I don't mind it.

    Actually kinda catchy!

Beyonce's songs are usually horrible to listen to as there is no melody in them, Single Ladies being a prime example.

Nicki Minaj - Anaconda is ****ing disgraceful in how it sounds and what it represents; lowest common denominator production for maximum profit. She needs to get with a Chris Brown kind of boyfriend.

Aww man The Shaggs. I love the backstory of the band where their grandmother had some sort of vision where the girls came famous musicians. Their dad then basically forced them to form a band despite neither of them having any musical abilities whatsoever.
