Washing machine gets stuck on drain

Hi, I have a Trinity Bendex 850. Its one of those machines where you turn a dial to a certain number, and it rotates back through the stages of the wash. It’s getting stuck on the drain step of the cycle. I just need to click it forward one tick, and it continues on – it will drain ok. Any ideas on why its sticking? Thanks!

sounds as though you are selecting a delicate programme which will rinse and hold on the last rinse to prevent creasing or it may have a rinse/hold button that is set on.
