Thankfully the pitch tonight won't be a mud bath like Bradford, some 5000 United fans will be in the " Bill Shankley" kop end, hopefully all our goals go in that end ;-)

One of my FB friends certainly hopes so too! :)

Strootman is the midfielder Van Gaal wants , however with the recent injury setback im not sure it would be wise , a lot of top midfielders in Europe seem to have injury problems, Vidal, Strootman and Gundogan. Would we not be better off just to try and get Khedira for free? I mean Vidal at his best is obviously better but hes past that now it looks like ,as for strootman is he any better than khedira? He would also be a risk with hes injury problems. Pogba would be my pick of the punch but he doesn't striker me as a lvg type signing, I think lvg prefers his midfielders more defensive

United XI: De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, Herrera, Rooney, Fellaini, Di Maria, Falcao

    HERRERA STARTS.

    THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

So the way United tweeted that suggests Rooney is in midfield, Fellaini's at the number ten and Di Maria is up front.

Because of course Fellaini in midfield, Di Maria at the number ten and Rooney up front would make TOO much sense.

Could be but lvg never gives away much with team selection I wouldn't be surprised eitherway, I thought it looked like 433 first ha.

Ok im not gonna get too excited yet.... But i am liking the look of that lineup.

Could he be going for a 4-2-3-1 ?
    Blind fellaini holding midfielders?

Herrera...am I seeing that right lads?!

Louis is on Boards! He could have at least thanked my post from this morning, which no doubt cut through his stubbornness like a bull through an American student at a Spanish bull run.

G'wan D'Ander, do me proud son!

Id say we'll see rooney on the right again, Looking foward to see falcao up top on his own, It really is make or break for him.

Had my suspicions. Put it this way, I've never seen Louis and bangkok in the same place at the same time.

Looks like Rooney and Falcao up front together. ERMAGHERD, THE DREAM

The precision of Herrera's passing has been missing from our midfield.

Herrera has been a welcome addition to the midfield. He battles hard and works back for the team too. Di Maria's passing has been very questionable at times. Aside from Rooney we have very little pace up front.

I can see Wilson coming on to add some pace at some stage.
