Read seat belts clearly make the car go faster

Exactly, as do red brake calipers.

Had a great drive around the Midlands today after meeting up with some of the lads from the Italian car club of Ireland. Some nice cars there including a beta montecarlo, integrale, 159 to and not to forget 166mans 166. Damn elite did a class job on the paintwork.
Made me think though, why'd we never meet at midway and go for a drive after say an hour towards athlone or something. Some lovely driving roads on the way. Much better that standing around in a car park for a few hours

I really need to stop using the car as much and go back to cycling/walking! Meh body is gone t'fcuk. I was toned last Summer  :(

Because some people will more than likely act the bollocks, plain and simple really

It's a shame because that sounds like a good idea

"You can't drive because the Internet police say so."
    Eh, no.

Just like doing the Wickloe gap after our Leinster meets, there's no reason not to go for a spin after a midway meet. Boards will not be held accountable for someone speeding, it's not their concern or in their power to dictate what we do or how we do it outside of this forum.

I know the feeling. I used to go to the gym 3-4 times a week. Haven't gone in months.

    There you go.
If someone starts acting the maggot just tell them to gtfo. Does sound better than standing around midway all day too.

    The white Montecarlo on ZVs?

Cant remember the reg, but it sold at swords a few weeks back. Looks and sounds class

Guys for a NCT visual retest do you need to use the same centre you originally used or can you use any centre ?

    Moisture in rear light cluster

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,845 ✭✭✭Noccy_Mondy

Think it can be any centre.

That's it, I've never been into the idea of driving an hour on a motorway to stand around.
Delighted to drive an hour and a half over the mountains in the summer to stand around in the sun though. :p

I need an interesting road to really appeal to me.

Can anyone recommend any tyre shops/fitters around Cork City/Suburbs? Looking to get decent new tyres or part worns.

Mikes Tyres in fermoy are pretty decent. Prices aren't off the wall either, but they don't do part worns AFAIK.

Absolute effort of going to Fermoy though :pac:

Need to get a pair of 255/40/17's, ideally around €150 or less per tyre excluding fitting/balancing.

It's twenty minutes up the road:p

Fastfit in Togher are usually pretty decent too.

20 minutes is like €20 in fuel :P Might pop into them as I have to get a a few quotes for the crash damage anyway.
    Camskill !

Going to see what local prices are like, Camskill are coming to around €300 for F1's delivered, excluding fitting/balancing.

Ah yeah, they're the higher end, I'm looking at Hankook Ventus as they seem to have a good price/quality.

I've used them before for the Yaris, good service alright, not sure what kind of stock they have though.

In other news, I really, really, really want to do something like this:

I can see why, but it's hilarious for that very reason :p Rovers do not belong slammed, but it's so cool!
