The question is, have they bacon it too far, or is there wurst things to be worrying about?
its a jobs for the boys club doing what a jobs for the boys club does. most food is surely labeled these days now? that, and a list of the childrens names with what they can and can't eat. don't the schools do that with children who have allergies? of course, the jews and the muslims will get the blame for it rather then the jobs for the boys club sorry i mean local authority/council

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

Good. More pork for the rest of us. Islington was always batty anyway. The council staff there wear burquas, even the men, lest they be deemed to have offended anyone. They invented PC.
they didn't as it doesn't exist. what they did invent however, is being barmy

Claiming political correctness doesn't exist is far more barmy than anything Islington council could ever do.

Let's face it, this wasn't done to cater for the Jews.

As if anyone in authority cares about England's rapidly disappearing Jewish populace.

This was done as the latest act in a long history of appeasement to England's Muslim population. A population that is producing hundreds if not thousands of of young men that have and are currently grooming and raping indigenous, English children without official interruption and in media silence.

Are you at the stage yet where you check under the bed for bogeymen Muslims?

It can't be far off anyway

Saves money on court case made by people who accidentally eat a bacon sandwich thinking it was halal chicken.

Which part of my post isn't true?

And, you're quite right, it's not far off. The racially and religiously motivated rape will happen here too eventually.

Hindus can eat beef if they want. It's not actually banned in the religion, no more than eating any other animal is.

The reason a lot of hindus don't eat beef is because back in the day cows were scarcer and of more use for tilling land, pulling carts etc, and became symbols for abundance and prosperity and the like.

Ah, but you see, there is another view:
Hindus worship cows and they are not allowed to eat beef. Its against their sentiments.

    no, they probably don't care.

no it wasn't. it was done to satisfy the egos in the authority themselves. and the muslims will get the blame by the rabel rousers knuckle draggers and so on.

Tis grand. The majority jumps into line with the dietary/religious beliefs of some put-upon minority. Makes perfect sense, really.

Sure, tail wagging the dog is the new black.

Much more benevolent than certain, spreading interpretations of Islam that call for female rape victims to be physically punished for adultery and homosexuals to be killed by being lobbed from great heights.

See the big protests in Turkey over secular education?

'Cos when the UK sneezes we catch a cold.

We've already imported the same craven, suicidal culture of political correctness.

When the rapidly multiplying products of misogynistic cultures/religions here reach a critical mass we'll see the same mass rape of indigenous females both adult and infant we've already seen in other European countries.

It's sad that what started as a pretty funny thread had to fall back into "they're coming!!!!!" territory.

Dont worry, we are quite experienced in the area already. We can pretend it never happened, do a few reports in the future and the politicians can keep kicking it down the road until we all forget.

The story isn't even true. Pork hasn't been banned by a school nor by the council. It simply isn't available under the catering contract for the borough

It's a fairly popular myth in fairness. The only reason I know it's not banned in the religion is because I have an Indian friend who explained it to me after I noticed he ate burgers! I think even a lot of Indians wrongly believe that it's banned in the religion! All animals are 'sacred' in Hinduism but none are specifically said to be above eating.

I've seen documentaries that claim that the slaughter of cows is illegal in India and it's complete nonsense. Hundreds of millions of people all over the country eat beef. Most just choose not to for whatever reason.

Bury the head there, that's right. It's the safe, easy and popular thing to do.

I honestly wish I was wrong.

Past events prove I'm right. Ongoing events prove I'm right. Future events will, sadly, prove me right.

I could be wrong, but some friends who lived in India for a while told me that generally it's younger cows that aren't eaten. kind of to ensure they get to have a full life. No idea if that's true, but it makes me feel warm and fuzzy to believe it.

Given the widespread poverty in that country I imagine the reason often is because they simply can't afford it.

I thought the mention of Muslims & Jews in the thread title would at worst, foster some equal opportunities hate & scare mongering. Boy was I wrong and I think I'll blame some Muslims for my error.

It's a big country with lots of regions, laws and customs - but the truth is paradoxical. Beef is not banned anywhere for consumption, but slaughtering cattle is indeed illegal in many states in India - and yet it still manages to be one of the world's largest producers of beef.

    If you say so...

Sad that you have to resort to that lacking, as you do, any coherent argument beyond a cheap insult.

Since you bring up the subject of Nazism, it does seem clear to me that there is only one group in Europe today with a genuine appetite for a holocaust of Jews, homosexuals, blashphemers and anyone else who by their nature or opinion does not conform to their dogma.
