    van persie better this season?!

If Van Persie didn't play a minute of football this season it would have been as good as he produced last season.

28 games 18 goals last year.

he has spent most of this season just jogging around the pitch

Messi and Ronaldo would look **** in our team at the moment.

At end of day when you have players clearly out of position and tactics that are not working you can have whoever you like in there but it ain't going happen all that much.

You have to wonder what's going to happen first though? Will LVG give in and play the formations/tactics that suit the players we have (Rooney up top, Herrera in CM consistently etc), or will he persist with how things are going which surely will eventually lead to more and more discontent and ultimately a sacking?

wouldnt go that far, ronaldo would have the drive and desire to still score 30-40 goals if he played with us

Nope we were all bitching and moaning about the likes of Fellaini and Dembele waltzing through our soft midfield that Fergie was too stubborn to fix...

The Nani debate was also in it's embryonic stage. The debate still rages today.

6 months after winning the CL and the league, read a few pages of this, and you'll see that it was never really any different. United fans as a group are not capable of happiness. :pac:

    Janazuj is the new Nani
    Herrera is the new Kagawa
    Rooney is the new Cleverley
    Wilson the new Welbeck

    De Gea
    McNair - Jones - Rojo - Shaw
    Blind - Herrera
Januzaj - Rooney - Di Maria
    Falcao

I just don't see why this isn't the starting 11. Rooney will put in that defensive shift that Mata doesn't bring (while sacrificing the natural #10 ability that Mata has).

The "players playing out of position" concept that LvG seems to want to use is driving me ****ing nuts!

Think I'd throw Fellaini in there for a bit of physicality and push Herrera up. The three behind Falcao could all interchange fairly smoothly if given a run of games. Fellaini also gives us a bit more height for defending/attacking set pieces. I would probably prefer Smalling than Jones but only if he can stay fit for a month or two

Januzaj is the opposite of Nani in that he does nothing of note in most games.

I suppose Evans is the opposite of Paul McShane as well. You blind love for Evans and Nani is baffling. Both of them are not good enough for United anymore.

Is that the same as the Nani of last season, no?

NANI IS THE BEST PLAYER EVER.

I see us picking up 25 points in the remaining 13 games, that would be enough to make sure of CL football and is very achievable.

Edit: If we drop points in a couple more games then I would anticipate I believe a total of 68 or so will still be enough

He stood out to me last night too for having a weird body shape, from some angles he looked fat, obviously he's not but it was very weird.

I could swear he had a double chin at times. I know a lad who started on the weights. He led a very healthy life, eat well and did lots of cardio but he looked so weird when he bulked up. He had short limbs, neck, legs and arms so when he got muslce they pushed into his body more. His neck looked like it shrunk and pushed his head closer to his body and gave a double chin effect, and a kind of fat face apperance.

It was very wierd, he looked worse for working out and getting in shape :pac:

Gyno or gynocomastia I belive its called. When some men start on the weights and all that extra testosterone starts flying about it can cause an imbalance of the hormones estrogen and testosterone and result in man t1ts :pac:

Could be happening to Rojo if he's hit the gym :o
