use SmartShare to transfer movie from Samsung S5 to LG Smart TV

I've been trying to watch a film I've downloaded on my phone on my TV. I've tried using the SmartShare App and WiFi Direct but the TV either won't recognise my phone or I get a failed error on my phone. Any ideas?

Try downloading the all cast app

There should be a settings option to change your connection type from fast to normal, I think it on the right hand side, this is for Web OS anyways. It should work for you then
