My clubs were stolen and I will need to submit a claim under my golf club's Golfsure policy. Anyone got any experience of claiming under this policy? How long does the process take & when should I expect to have replacement clubs? Should I buy new clubs in advance of the claim being settled?

Contact the insurance crowd, they will send you a form which will need to be completed. You might have to inform the guards about the theft if you haven,t done so..They (AIG) will offer you a voucher for mcguirks but you can request a cheque to the amount stolen. Dont buy anything yet. It wont take more than 2 weeks to sort out.

Had a medical claim with them last year and they were very good.

I dealt with Sharon, I'll PM you her contact details now.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully you'll take a positive out of this and pick up some nice replacements, I'd be claiming for my bag, balls, gloves, GPS basically everything in the bag.

My car was stolen last year and I claimed for my clubs through GolfSure as the threshold was higher (€4k rather than €2k).

My car was stolen on the 6th of March 2014 and I received my voucher on the 24th of April so it took me around 6/7 weeks.

When I knew the voucher was due, I began ordering clubs then.
