That doesn't account for cross field balls. Do you want me to start handing out pamphlets? :pac:

    Here comes the pool.

Yeah here we are, going full out attacking your manager and looking to magnify the incident as evidence LVG has lost the plot. Shocking Joe, shocking.

Wow skipper, talk about being on the defensive....I'm not like the others, no need to explain yourself posting in an online forum, honestly.

rafa didn't have a meltdown and neither did van gaal, but both were wrong doing what they did and both looked pretty stupid

The only real difference is that Benitez "fachts" moment was building for a while whereas Long Ball Van Haul reacted with 4 pages after one quip!

Poor Moysie, can't get anyone to have a post match tipple with him

so know we know two reasons why Moyes got the United job.

    was scottish
    drank wine.

Rafa's rant was much much worse than what Van Gaal did. I don't think it was necessary, but at the same time I think it's just LVG being stubborn and wanting to reply to Big Sam. People saying this proves LVG is losing the plot is beyond ridiculous.
This won't affect the team whatsoever. I still expect to see a customary dull 1 nil victory tomorrow.

So anyway a draw tonight is between Liverpool and Spurs is probably the preferred result from a Utd point of view I guess.

    After that, a Spurs victory?

I don't see why he should have to. And it isn't just Big sam saying it.

Strikes me a manager has responded to criticsm, and used a handout to do it, which isn't that surprising also remembering his English isn't great. And rather than go "oh, maybe it's not that bad", journalists realise more papers will sell using terms like "meltdown", and some people who have the knives out will use it to justify their point of view in the usual hyperbolic manner.

A manager should have every right to respond to over the top criticism and it's not that there is much else to talk about anyway.

You really think the language barrier was a reason for the handouts?

    Yep!

Mainly because i find it almost impossible to root for Liverpool in any situation.

LvG is turning into a bit of a joker.

He has made no apprecable difference to any player in the squad, bar Young, nobody else is playing demonstrably better than under Moyes. A number of players seem to have regressed. Fellani to a certain extent, although in that case he seems to have got his Everton form back rather than actually improve. But when you are pointing out that Fellani as a main plus the arguement is already lost.

He have been given massive resources and plenty of time yet his team look devoid of any ideas, any confidence, and idea of what they are supposed to be doing. This defensive 'crisis', not actually backed by the stats, has covered over the main problem with the LvG team in that we have no threat going forward. He continues to play Rooney and Di Maria out of position, continues to not play/underuse Herrera and Mata, and has not been able to get anything additional out of RVP.

And now instead of spending time on building new tactics he is wasting time building a defence to Sam's jibe! Seriously? Anybody with a pair of eyes can see that we are awful to watch. Not creativity, no spark, no imagination.

This is what Utd are reduced to? Moyes may have dragged us down but LvG is doing a great job of finishing us off. If we fail to get into CL spots then I can't see any top players wanting to come to us based on the type of football we play, or indeed the chance of any silverware.

A draw would be ideal. Should be looking for a Liverpool win after that when you look at the table but it would be fairly huge for them and could give them a real boost for top 4.
If they do win we still have the 5 point lead over Liverpool after tomorrow if it doesn't go tits up so any outcome will have positives as long as we get the 3 points tomorrow night.

Sky really had no choice but to try and up the PL rights a bit after BT bought all of the CL rights. Anything less and they would lose customers.

Yep, they had to do it alright, cost of Sky Sports will rise considerably no doubt.

Sorry I thought it was to 2020. Four seasons and 10m a game. Unbelieveable Jeff

They are already for normal packages. €2 ish increases.

I won't be paying, IPTV and a sport subscription service for Kodi will do me just fine.

Its crazy, beyond belief but the fans who pau at the gate get no reduction on prices of tickets.

    Hopefully that changes.
