Guardian lineup had him dropped this week. Not as reliable as they used to be though.

Guardian called it. Correct wba back 4.

I wouldn't expect Burnley to win any of them games, however United and City defences aren't exactly strong.

United/Spurs have kept one CS since start of 2015
City haven't kept CS since GW17

Burnley are also fighting for their lives so will not be sitting back - they will be going for goals.

Haven't said all that i wouldn't touch him

I got him in in GW13 for a 3 wk punt and still have him. I currently have a strong front 8 and think Ill keep him and bench him till GW 27 when Ill play him at Home to swansea (the one decent fixture out of the next 9) before I finally sell him.

I wonder did someone at FPL Towers forget to hit the update button. It's happened before. :pac:

I was sure Kane was going to rise tonight.

Alexis Sanchez flag removed !!! NTI reset to 0. No chance of another drop at all now!

Great news for the ones who held on him. Disaster for the ones who sold.

Disaster how? He's fallen 0.3m and in meantime missed 2 matches in which Cazorla has scored 19 points and given a €0.1m selling price rise.

I'm as much an alexis fan as anyone, but it's been no disaster.

I'll buy alexis back now if he starts per team news tomorrow night.

You're certainly one of the very few who sold him when he was £11.5m. Most (at least in here - there was no debate at all 2 weeks ago while it was raging last week ;)) sold him last week when he was £11.3m and most got £10.9m or £10.8m for him. So if he starts tomorrow it could be a case of losing £0.3m to £0.4m in the process of getting him back.
Also him being flagged out while at -65% is not good news for the ones who sold. It's not an insane stretch to imagine he could have dropped tonight if the only info we had was Wenger stating he could make the bench and maybe just maybe start... Thats the "disaster".

That said. As I was debating with FHFC last week I sold him for £10.9m cashing in a £0.4m profit and prepared to lose £0.3m to get him back with the objective to give me what I believe could be a great flexibilty towards him for the run-in (when many will have £0.8 to £1m tied on him).
Cazorla rising tonight would help me very much in that regards (would be able to cash in a £0.2m profit). Though Silva or ADM could also make way... As much as I'd like to give the latter a last chance, with his current form, it could be hard to ditch one of the other 2...

It's just I'd be far less worried about cash than points at this time of year, and Caz has given the return in the meantime. So for me the disaster would have been bottling the switch due to money worries.

I've plenty of cash leftover (€3.1m at present) I don't even know what to do with (Kane cheap helping a lot in that regard).

I agree as soon as the jan wildcard is played I no longer worry about price changes id also never let value dictate my decisions. I held sanchez but that was only because I have a strong front 8 at the minute.

Well I got Silva in for Sanchez last week. Already had Caz from my previous GW WC. So mixed feelings.

I still think it's a bit early to wipe out the cash thing. Especially if Sturridge starts firing. Also the cheap midfielders have dried out a bit lately so with 14 GWs to go the more flexibility the better for your team IMO. It's pretty similar to the Costa situation earlier on. And the ones who managed it best got some useful flexibility for Christmas & Jan WC.

Im pretty sure the answer to this question is no but ill ask anyway as its pretty important to my plans; is there any way charlie austin could drop by 0.2 tonight? I ask because it seems the game didnt update price changes last night and austin was due to drop. Hes well on the way to 200% now so would technically be dropping for the second time if the game had updated properly. I know this has happened once or twice before, do they try and recitfy the price changes when they forget to update it or is it simply ignored?

    Won't happen.

@ MR NINE: A player can only rise/drop once at a time.

The only thing that could (have) happen(ed) is FPL to update it very late and make price changes occur this morning/afternoon and then the next update at normal time at 2 am tomorrow.
This already happened last year or the year before last but as far as I remember I'm pretty sure it was done by midday.

But even if this was to happen the excess NTO over 100% would be wiped out when the change'll occur, so it's impossible Austin drops twice between now and tomorrow's deadline ;).

Is Pelle near a rise or Costa near another drop?

FFfix won't function here in work on PC.

Pelle at 17% on FPLStats and he's getting more transfers out. Costa at -47% so doubt he'll drop

Both 50% on way to drop with little movement.

Koscielny, Sanchez, Bellerin, Monreal, Eriksen, Van Aanholt, Blind, Moreno, Mané UP!

Gibbs, Flamini, Chambers, Silva, Aarons, Alderweireld, Capoue, Nelson Oliveira DOWN!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,350 ✭✭✭G1032

Alderweireld down. Lovely. Just looking at rival teams and basically all have Jones and/or a Southampton defender. I need a Southampton defender as a blocker if nothing else and Alderweireld might be the way in there (assuming he's back from injury now / soon)
Downing might get yet another reprieve.

Why has there been so much price movement over the last two nights?
