    I heard that on atc.
FR9896 was just being pushed back when they were told to stop as another jet was coming in. They now have to return back into the stand.

I can't understand that, 905 could have used taxiway C and 9896 could have held on B, then lined up on 35 before EI887 approached......anyway i suppose they are the lads who know their job.

There is a Stobart on the way to ORK must be crossing his fingers 92C callsign just north of Dungarvan now.

If I'm not mistaken, he says he needs 750m Visibility for landing, at 800m thats pushing it.

According to my 10minute old info, visibility at ORK is 300m.

Well if 9896 doesn't back track and depart fairly niffty he will be going around

    Stobart sent around, 9896 holding.

Very strange ATC at ORK this evening IMO.

    Edit:
Missed approach with the stobart. FR9896 cleared for take off.

2 more EI's on the way into cork soon, just south of waterford atm

EI725 Go-around at ORK. Will hold for 5 minutes. (It appeared to be a Touch and Go)
EI3709 also making a go-around. (Reached an altitude of 25ft!)

Is there anything moving in Shannon?

An ABX Air 767 about 15 minutes ago.
Visibility at SNN is significantly better.

EI725 will hold and will probably divert to SNN (Unless wind drops below 10knots)

Why had they to go back

Lack of space on taxiways. There was probably a way around it but with the fog they might have just left it at the stand.

EI725 and EI3709 just passed eachother overhead, with a mere 1000ft between them. Things like that are funny to see.

Meanwhile, the first ever EI 757 passenger service into continental Europe is arriving back in DUB soon from Rome.

Both EI's down safely and without problem in Shannon.

Now that's a bit odd, TNT B744F operating on an El Al code. Hmm

    Over Portadown at 19:25

Seems to be a substitute as ELY842 is normally flown by El Al's own 4X-ELF.

Ah, 'ELF hasn't shifted from Tel Aviv in four days, during which time Kalitta's N402KZ has been subbing.

Oooh! FlyBE aircraft showing-up on Planefinder now.

And a Seneca! And just below it in the screenshot is another Mode-S--only aircraft, a BMR E145.

Did they roll-out MLAT? Someone here mentioned it a few weeks back.

Bucharest to Dublin squawking 7700 over Germany at the moment. Seems to be decending fairly quick to land.
