If you see a team doing something like that, it's like they've already conceded the game and are only there for the occassion. If they want to take pictures and selfies, I'm sure they would be allowed to do so after the game.

That's actually a great point .. Welbeck is ment to be the united threw and threw. But saying that I think welbeck felt he had alot more to offer united and Anderson knew he was only going along for the ride for the past few seasons so maybe Danny does feel some resentment.

I am disappointed and slightly shocked that a top level manager would play Di Maria up front, because of his pace even though he does very little when played up front

It's like putting the fat lad in goals for an under 9 team because he took up most of the goal

Hardley, he tried it for a bit of pace up front and di Maria can get a goal its not like he is totally alienated to it. But the problem was that they missed di Maria in midfield more then the need for him up front.

I worry about the future under van Gaal, formation and tactics have just been so uninspiring. Every time I see the lineup before a game it makes me angry for one reason or another. Usually multiple reasons.

I would say Smalling beside Evans and McNair at right back if it's a back four.
Possibly swap Rooney and Di Maria. Will wait and see.
