where to buy quark?

Hi the ppl in the mac department in work were looking to upgrade their version of quark to 5

they rang quark and they were quoted 299stg(ex vat) .. and told them it would be 519euro!!!!!!!!!!

we thought that this was inc vat which would be roughly right

then we rang back and was told that was ex vat !

we told them teh exchage rate is roughly £1=€1.4
which would make it in teh region of 420 ,, they told us they didn't update exchange rate .. and gave us a new quote of 470 ex vat .. we were still bewildered ..

they said they can either charge us 299 stg
or 470euro .

we wanted to be charged stg, but was then told it could be a problem because of vat or something

so what I want to know is there anywhere we can buy this??
except quark themselves?
