Fake leather skirt - what to wear with it?

So my OH went and bought me a fake leather skirt in Zara last week, can't find pics of it online, but it's a very pale beige, about knee length and has what I'd call a fishtail in a longer skirt if that make sense? It flares out at the bottom.

It looks very dressy on, but I've no idea of colours or shapes to wear with it on top

It's not a casual skirt so I'm a bit stumped.

Any thoughts?

Being beige you can pair it up with a white or black blouse. Keeping it simple it's good for heading out casually while if you wear a smarter looking blouse you have an outfit for the cinema, restaurant etc. Shoes wise, nude, black or a dark tan will do the job. It really is a versatile wardrobe staple so don't fear it too much. You can really dress them up/down depending on what top you pair it with.

Have it I think! Very nice skirt it is.

Here is what I wear with it
Soft grey top (either a cami or a cardi, or both)
Sharp white shirt, with statement necklace in a colour
Dark brown top
I wear mint green with it too..

I have a cream leather skirt and I wear it with a simple round neck wool sweater from Benetton, and a statement necklace. I actually wear it to work quite a lot so I have flat black, patent brogues that dress it down.
