Rooney in midfield and Herrera on the bench, sigh

At least we're sticking with 442, miles better than 532

I think it's fairly clear at this stage that LVG doesn't seem to rate Rafael.

Yes and it baffles me how someone can rate Valencia but not rafael. Valencia is just the anti-footballer.

He always talks about imbalance and picks team that are so unbalanced.

Blind instead of Januzaj would have been perfect, or even instead of one of 3 strikers.

He has been spot on the last few weeks, def got some inside knowledge into team selections so id say this isnt far off.

LVG got something against Herrara?? Surely deserves a start at this stage

One of the most puzzling things. As I always say, the manager knows more than us and sees them from Monday til Saturday. But the team seems far more balanced with Herrera in it. I'd have liked to see a midfield of Januzaj - Herrera - Blind - Di Maria.. with Rooney and Falcao/RVP up front. That would allow us to play a regular 4-4-2 or a diamond, or 4-3-3 and all our midfielders are interchangeable bar Blind.

I prefer Rafael myself but it's really disruptive when a player can only play a handful of matches before getting injured again. We have enough of them in the backline as it is.

Picks too many attacking players that imbalances the team and also picks a formation that he himself said causes imbalance but creates more chances. I think he's going for broke now because he realises the fans aren't happy with the dross we've been served on almost a weekly basis since the start of the season.

    ........Blind.........
    Rooney Di Maria
    ......Januzaj.......
    RVP..........Rooney

Swap Januzaj with Rooney there and id say thats the midfield.

    Blind
    -Herrera--Di Maria--
    Mata
    ---Falcao----Rooney

Two Rooney's, I would take one off for Falcao.

Rooney or RVP out for Herrera or Fellaini and while I'd still be pissed Januzaj was getting game time it'd be interesting to see.

Take away McNair and Smalling - that is a strong bench, which we haven't seen in a long long time.

Why is Herrera on bench :( Nice to see Januzaj start though

So long as Rooney is being shunted in to midfield, Herrera is going to be benched :/

7 years ago today, Ronaldo scored this phenomenal free-kick. I remember running outside out to my father, who was cutting the grass, to tell him he had to see it. Fantastic goal.

You are pissed that Januzaj is getting game time? Strange.

Deleting the reddit posts given they were obviously predicated on a path to illegal streams.
