07 Toyota Yaris Value?

Hey Guys Looking to pick up a Yaris for the other half. Was thinking about the 07 mark but was astonished to see some going for upwards of 8k? surely that's way too much? I was hoping to pick up a 1.3 as I believe that is the best engine in the range.

They go crazy money, even 1999 models can go €1500 plus.
