    Hi all

I have a 2004 renault scenic that needs a new motor resistor fan heater. When I look online I see all these different parts called something similar so am unsure which one to get.

I was wondering (know it might be a stab in the dark) would any of ye know what the part number might be or link me to a pic of one?

I want to try order it online.

    Thanks for any help!

that is the actual blower motor.Has the motor burnt out or do you need to replace the resistor pack.

Generally if your fan works on 1 and 2 speed settings then you need to replace the resistor pack and not the motor.

Do you have manual air con or climate control as the resistor packs are different.

    This is a resistor pack.

Hi ra0044, it is not working at all. We have manual air con. I bought the resistor pack but I am told that I need to get the motor too.

    Thanks!

We had this very job done by =/www.twmotors.ie in Walkinstown. It was a big job, dash out but it was very reasonable considering the motor was jammed and resistor had failed. Less than €400 I think. Really good people to deal with as well.

I've done these if it's the resistor and the wiring loom you need that's costs 180e or so and if u need the motor also I don't no the price on that any of the ones I've changed is the loom and the resistor there are about 10 wires on the new loom all coloured purple so you need to do the wires 1 by 1 all in should only take a hour n a half r there abouts.
but the part is expensive for wat it is n fairness if u need any other advice just ask il be glad to help

Hi all. Am struggling trying to pick out the correct fan motor. On the car cert the car is called Renault scenic 1.5 dci. When I look online, they seem to say Renault scenic II. I'm afraid to buy in case it turns out to be the wrong part.
Anyone know if the variant of the model makes a difference to this part? Think I might be ok to buy a fan motor for a scenic II?
