Yes, timer and built in thermostat on the front of the boiler. (Super Q 85/115)

Thanks, not sure what you mean by a wireless switch? Hers a pic of the front, I was able to attach this time.

Sorry, not sure I get you. My boiler is in the house but not in the living area so the thermostat on that isn't measuring the temp in the living part of the house, (I think it's just measuring the water return temp, not sure on that though.)

My understanding is that a nest normally replaces a traditional remote wired thermostat (which I don't have )and therefore hard wires directly back to the boiler which is how it controls the boiler and that the user then manages the nest at the front end over the wifi network.

Is That a reasonable undeestanding?

Arethere some kind of controllers on the market that allow me to connect the boiler to the wifi network and manage it that way? Can the nest work solely over wifi without a wired connection to the boiler?
