For being able to charge & use a keyboard/other usb device at the same time - reckon his should work - anyone ever used one like it?

Does anyone else find the screen on it kind of 'grainy' - not resolution, but the panel itself?

Be careful with CeX that price wont last long. Best to get the phone into them before Saturday.

Yeah, wasn't sure if it was my faulty one or was that the way they all were. Might not open the replacement and sell it. Still undecided. Its nice but I don't think I want to ditch android.

Has anyone run an android emulator on a windows tablet before?

Bluestacks requires 2GB RAM but there are workarounds. Would be very useful to have access to some android apps that haven't made it to windows store yet

    Workaround for 1GB RAM systems:

    http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/how-to-install-bluestacks-1gb-ram-t2885950

Have installed bluestacks and also run virtual machines of android x86 and ubuntu but was a 2gb version similar to this tablet
it worked but it's not like running a native OS, bluestacks was a bit stuttery when scrolling webpage or with basic game

Wouldn't mind giving you 45 for it if you're gonna let it go

    Important part
"Though users of new Windows 10 devices requiring legacy app compatibility may be forced to an 8-inch or larger device, current 7-inch slates won't be required to make that change (no desktop/ no legacy apps) if you're looking to upgrade an existing tablet to Windows 10. "

Have just spent a few hours playing around with the tablet.

First impressions are pretty good. It's quite quick, the screen is decent enough, and, while the windows OS is very different from android and IOS, it's not bad on a tablet.

I have a Nexus 10 and an Ipad Air and while it's obviously not in the same category as those tablets, for the price (under 50 quid!) it's pretty deadly.

Biggest plus - being able to install full desktop apps. Running full utorrent and being able to download content directly to the device so easily is great.

Biggest minus - there is a pretty severe amount of backlight bleed on the screen.

Edit: Also, the auto-rotate function is a bit ropey.

It was the fact that this as a legacy device should get desktop app support with Win 10 upgrade pushed me to purchase rather than hold out for a higher spec 7 inch device.

No point for me waiting for a 7 inch and 2 GB RAM device if MS changing the OS.
If anyone is looking for a 7 inch device with full Win functionality now is the time to buy.

Probably a stupid question but is the screen protector on the tab meant to be removed?

It has a tab on the protector that looks like one of those 3 part items you get i.e. the protector and a front and back. I initially though that there was a "permanent" protector on it as the tab has number 2 on it and says to remove
Anyone know? Have you all just whipped off the tab?

Yeah, I just took mine off.

Yeah, I just took mine off.
Darn - so its just for shipping protection, not a usable protector?

Yeah, I think so. I was a bit thrown by it too, it did really look like screen protector.

There is a full version of Office 365 Personal for 1 year included in the package
It has to be installed and activated before 27/07/2015.

P.S. Time and data must be updated before you start office installation otherwise you would get error 771

Was just wondering this myself. I just missed the 10am cut off yesterday so was hoping it would be here tomorrow but I haven't received the dispatch mail yet.

Typical. Like buses the emails came in.

3 emails. Weird. All the same tracking numbers so I don't get 3 orders at least.

1 for the SIM, 1 for the phone, 1 for the tablet.
