I can understand the postie-poster's eagerness to get something posted here.
I've recently gotten a dashcam and all the madness of 2014 seems to have magically dried up.
I wanted to finally contribute something to this thread after years of watching/commenting and in the last month the best I could come up with was a labrador calmly walking across at a set of traffic lights.
Also I've never seen a postie on a bike do anything stupid or dangerous and they do head out in fairly awful weather at times to deliver our 32Gb Micro SD cards from FleaBay.
So I think we should cut both the poster and the postie some slack on this one.

Come on. If that's what we're reduced to in an effort to cane someone for something, then we're finished.

A fukking Postie moving his bike up onto the footpath FFS!! :pac:

I apologise for the haste in posting, I only got the camera set up on Friday and was eager to contribute!

I commute through the city centre on a daily basis so no doubt I'll have better footage soon!

If people prefer I can post footage of the 5+ people a day I see breaking red lights on my route?

Keep an eye on lane 3 ...

    This was suggested on YouTube

This guy has rear, side, and front cameras, quite a setup.
But I wouldn't hang about in the outside lane with a tailgater on my back.

I actually feel that guy was looking for trouble. He could have pulled in a few times, let the guy go and then pull back out.

I'm not excusing the other guys behavior at all btw but the guy making the video wasn't much better.

    His setup is impressive however.

pair of dipshits, he could of pulled in a number of times

also hate that bullshit '..if I hit the brakes, it will take him 24 car lengths to stop'. Yea, it'll take both of you clowns 24 car lengths to stop...

Apologies for the amount of dash in the cam, I've got the camera on velcro until my mount is delivered...

Unfortunately when moving at over 6 carlengths/sec there's a hell of a good chance that the clown in front has already used up a least one of those carlengths by the time the clown at the back realises the clown in front is braking hard.

I don't think he's any better. His comment "Traffic in lane one". He trundles along in the right hand lane for over 30 seconds without passing anyone. That's way more than enough time to move over and back out.

He could have even (god forbid) slow down a bit and move left to let the person behind past if he was actually worried about the tailgater.

I do it all the time if some lunatic going >150kmh comes right up behind me on the M6 when I'm mid-overtake.

Just left off the accelerator, pull in and let them go past and continue passing traffic that's going <120kmh.

The guy is an idiot sorry, but he had 3 chances to pull in, yet when he does the gap is narrower than any of the previous 3 gaps. Just be a knob head. The lad came up close to him once and pulled back again.
He is the clown in this case.

I'm finding the dashcam very useful for reviewing driving incidents during the day to check if I was right to think/react the way I did.

At the time I thought the guy below just cut across, but from looking at the video I can see that he put on his indicator before he changed.
Also, based on the size of the gap I'd left open up in front of me, he probably thought I was letting him in.
