Crazy price listed for only place I can find in Ireland. No UK sources.
Anybody know if other brands are compatible?
    Thx

Try www.quinnspares.ie I believe its compatable with a zanussi, around €20.

    Whats wrong with it ?

    Thanks Billy.
Too late to call them now. Are they knowledgeable enough to spec from machine details I give them?
Symptoms are 230v at spades, but pump dead.

UK price is here and hurts :o

Your price is crazy because your looking at a pump and filter unit complete when all you require (if you require) is the pump assembly.

Is the impellor freely moving ??

You could have some small item has got past the filter and is stuck in the impellor of the pump. Try removing the filter and using a long shafted screw driver and torch turn the impellor of the pump while looking for obstruction.

Looks like a bayonet type pump, something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Universal-Washing-Machine-Bayonet-fitting/dp/B00HFPSPCI/ref=sr_1_409?s=appliances&ie=UTF8&qid=1422308069&sr=1-409

You are a star! Now I've a load of hairpins, a 1c piece, a ball of fluff and clean clothes ☺.
Couldn't believe there was no humm when it was jammed with supply to it?
