For all you downtrodden men out there,we now have scientific proof that it's actually good for you to go out with the lads now & again.

I like a lads night out every now & then,I find it is actually good for myself & the missus to get out with our friends separately and have our own time.I have a circle of friends that I've had for years and we all meet up when we get the chance for pints and a laugh.

A colleague of mine is the opposite and his every social interaction is dictated by his wife,his life consists of kids,shopping and work.Never a mention of even talking to any friends,let alone going out for a few hours with any.Even listening to him talking about his weekend would put the most optimistic person into a fit of depression.This can't be healthy for a person especially seeing as his OH has a decent social life and is regularly out with her friends.Others working within our group have commented on this and said they'd crack up in a situation like that.

So lads,the next time your missus says you are better off staying in and watching The Late Late,tell her it's good for your well being to go out for a pint with your mates.

Nearly all my friends are married or in LTRs and I have to say that there's easily as many blokes that opt themselves not to go out when they get into a relationship as those who are supposedly forbidden from seeing the lads by the mythical gorgons in hair curlers that seem to fill these threads.
