Anyone having stream quality issues? Was perfect all day and now it's nowhere near HD.

Working perfectly on ATV for me.

Is nXt available on any other medium other than the network? Cancelling my subscription and done with the main WWE product but would like to keep following NXT.

It's on Hulu Plus. You'll need a VPN.

$7.99 but there's loads of TV shows and classic movies. A good investment, but I've never used it so not speaking from personal experience.

Hey everybody, I got the network and the app yesterday for the first time but couldn't stay up and was planning to watch the royal rumble today, unspoiled.

I'm hoping to watch on my ipad. If I go into the wwe app, will the results be blazoned all over the front page or is it safe enough to open it and find my way to the PPV without finding out? As I didn't have much time at all to mess around with the workings of the app, What are the exact steps I need to take to avoid all results and just get to the PPV?

Apologies if this has already been asked. I was worried I'd find something out so opened up the first page of this thread and hit reply just in case!

I hate being spoiled, I was very weary even coming here to ask!

Will I get to watch RAW/Smackdown on the network when it's live or will I still have to use Sky Sports?

No. Raw and SD episodes only go up after 30 days. They have a thirty min Raw pre-show in the Network but it is almost always insignificant

Nope. US Netflix has qbout 7,000 titles, Irelqnd one has qbout 2500. Hulu doesn't have that many but they have newer episodes of stuff including a 90 min version of Raw.

It is free via the Hulu website if you're in the USA.

Or if it thinks you're in the US?!

Think I got it working with unblock-us.com but there's fewer titles on the free website version.

There is a Hulu Plus app for various devices. I have one in Playstation, I don't subscribe though.

Anyone else who had the US Network find it is buffering a lot since the UK/Irish Network became available?

Mines been buffering since day 1 on PS3 and 4, but works great on iPhone and android...

Watched the rumble this evening on the network. Stalled at one point for a few seconds then another couple of times it went pixilated but was grand the rest of the time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,241 ✭✭✭The Ayatolla

Yeah I had one instance of pixelation last night watching the show, had an iPad connect to the TV with HDMI cable. First time watching a PPV live from start to finish, given it's the second biggest PPV of the year and the UK and Ireland were "just introduced", it's a good omen for their server strength.

watching it here its buffering fierce badly,

happened to be on my paypal account and it says seller cancelled the payment and returned my payment, maybe further issues with it?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,216 ✭✭✭Ageyev

Fyi for anyone still using Unblock-US: they recently moved operations and changed their billing name to Netprotect and the default payment is in US dollars $ which means it costs €4.45 as opposed to €3.50. They had been charging in Canadian dollars.

The North Koreans have just caught up on the Rumble. They aren't impressed.

WWE24 is one of the absolute best things WWE has ever put on the Network. I would talk about it but I don't want to spoil all the cool stuff and special moments. It really is an amazing account of Wrestlemania 30. Kind of like The Mania of Wrestlemania documentary from Wrestlemania 19.

It's good but a fair bit of backstage stuff was already seen in the Ultimate Warrior and Daniel Bryan documentaries they uploaded last year.
Sasha, Alexa and Charlotte was a nice highlight. Vince's "can I get some help in here dammit!" bit was a letdown.

Speaking of the Wrestlemania 19 doc, I'd like to see them add that in HD. It was shot on 35mm film cameras, or at least portions of it were.

WWE® NETWORK HITS 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS

STAMFORD, Conn., January 27, 2015 – WWE® (NYSE: WWE) today announced that WWE Network has surpassed 1 million subscribers just 11 months after launch, making it the fastest-growing digital subscription service. These results represent a 37 percent increase (24 percent domestically) in subscribers since last reported[1] at the end of third quarter 2014, driven primarily by a successful free November promotion, the launch of the service in the UK and significant additions for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.

“We’re thrilled that we’ve surpassed the 1 million subscriber milestone less than a year after launching WWE Network and in advance of WrestleMania, our biggest event of the year on March 29,” said WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon. “We remain focused on delivering an outstanding value proposition for ours fans by adding new content and new features in the coming year.”

Viewer data continues to indicate that, on average, close to 90 percent of subscribers access WWE Network at least once per week, 99 percent access WWE Network at least once per month and 86 percent of subscribers are satisfied with WWE Network.

Like other digital subscription services, such as Netflix and Hulu Plus, fans are able to sign up for WWE Network online by going to WWE.com and can watch WWE Network on their TVs through connected devices such as Sony Playstation 3, Sony Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Roku streaming devices as well as Smart TVs including Sony and Samsung. The U.S. English language version of WWE Network is available direct to consumers in more than 170 countries and territories and recently launched in the UK and Ireland.

WWE Network’s one-of-a-kind programming includes all 12 WWE pay-per-view events LIVE at no additional charge plus groundbreaking original series, reality shows, documentaries, classic matches, exclusive coverage of special events and more than 2,000 titles in its video-on-demand library.

Average fourth quarter and year-end WWE Network numbers will be reported in the normal course as a part of our earnings release on February 12.
