Aerlingus - Add baggage after booking

Hi,

Quick question. I want to book my ticket today but want to add my baggage during the week as I don't have time today and need to see how many bags I will take.

Can I add the bags to the booking afterwards but before in check in.

Is there an extra cost?

Another quick one. Is a cardboard box allowed on in place of a common bag. The box is pretty much the same size as a large luggage case. I have a box to hand but not a large case.

I don't see why there would be an issue. I'm just wondering about being met with "that's not a bag" at check in time. I will build a handle into the box so it can still be picked up.
