Before I go.. what is it with RTE that we have to have a news feature whenever they make people citizens?

    Yes she is flexible
But, poor miles' machines will not work on her.

Miles - Now don't be be be doing that - you cant be going over the 120
    Olga - but I can
Miles - I told you not to be doing that - the protractor only works to 120 - 120
Olga - I hate this job
Miles - shut up or you'll be back on a plane to the gulags
    Olga - Ok Miles
Miles - Good girl - you'll get another boob job if you stay at this, without going over the 120.

I'm really curious why Ryan didnt ask some very obvious questions to Hazel, the lady recounting her awful rape story. How did the man know her name? Did she have any idea who he might be? Why didnt he go into the fact that she felt this person had been in her apartment before? She mentioned the ordeal was video taped, I think this would bother me most. How on earth did nobody spot a man in a leotard & leather face mask coming in & out of the apartment? She said he left out the balcony onto a busy road. Why would the police not allow her view cctv?? He wouldnt be hard to spot... why did they not take evidence, she mentioned bloody sheets. These are all the questions I was left with. Regardless, what a horrific story. I didnt sleep easy last night. I'm glad to see she was able to move on with her life.

what is confusing me is the story with her kids. she mentioned she had a boyfriend at the time of the attack but then goes on to mention she was single for years after the attack. she also mentioned a 9 year old kid and her little daughter, just over 2 years old. she gave heavy weight to discusding the daughter but not the son. in fact i read a piece and the son wasnt even referenced. which is understandable considering the topic of rape.

i guess after ten years and countless recounts of the story it almost becomes like someone elses story when you tell it in a way when verbalising it whilst remaining a nightmare within. and she seemed like a strong girl so she has trained herself to put emotions aside whilst narrating it.

staying out in portugal was probably her way of dealing with it. she was young, had her boyfriend there, her friends etc. im sure her parents wanted her home but you cant force someone to go and her decision was one based on youthful stuborness, shock and ignoring the extremity of the event as a means to overcome it.

you ask why didnt tubridy ask why he knew her name, i anticipate if she could answer that she would know who the culprit was! she didnt really explain the logistics of the area, were there cameras , how he could of exited etc. it was all very vague in details. its the sort of story that needs to be made into one of those "real life crime" programmes to truly understand whst happened i imagine.

Roger_007, I sincerely hope you were joking/being sarcastic. However, (a) not evident if you were being sarcastic and (b) not the topic for sarcasm/joking.

I imagine some of these questions were asked already during the radio show. From an article I read in the Indo, that was basically covering the radio interview indicated it so.
    http://www.independent.ie/entertainment/radio/tubridy-floored-by-bravery-of-woman-sharing-her-harrowing-rape-ordeal-live-on-air-30921788.html

Brave girl aside, it begs the question why something that happened ten years ago was covered once on Tubs' radio show, and then on the lls a few days later.

I was not joking, I was not being sarcastic. I was offering an honest opinion of what I saw.

I have spoken with a couple of people who said there was just something odd with the interview with Hazel. Something didn't add up.

I don't watch this celebration of all things atheistic, fake, super-rich, elitist and insincere but I am sure it was its usual charmless self.

Did not or would not watch it. Tubridy is an insincere, cocooned idiot who celebrates the elitist and atheist lifestyle and projects it as the way of life we follow. However, I have to work for my living as a farmer and not get paid for meeting my friends every Friday night. I work and I believe in Christ and surprise surprise to the lazy atheists on megabucks so do many Irish people.
