Just watching David Attenborough on Graham Norton and just realised what a loss the man will be when he's gone. A true living legend.
Just wondering what other well know figures people would consider irreplaceable.
The others that came to mind were Stephen Hawking and Michael O Muirchearaigh

Was going to say Kris Kristofferson too.

Pure ace in every sense! Some of the most amazing, but yet simple and honest, lyrics ever penned.

Seeing a lot of decent singers and decent actors so far, not many legends. By this rate of qualifying, Ronnie Reagan was a demigod when he was alive.

Am I the only person that absolutely likes the guy in theory but ends up violently turning the radio dial or TV channel after a few minutes of his smug pomposity?
