Already seen 1 poster wanting van gaal out.

I just can't get my head around those posts. Am I te deluded one?

I feel like I'm the only positive poster left, or else the rest are getting drowned out by the rest.

A draw against Cambridge, not the end of the world. I don't think the we will see the same lethargic complacent performance at old Trafford.

Jones Jones Jones deary me, he had possibly his worst Utd performance ever tonight. Its unbelievable how impotent Utd are going forward.

At least Rojo and Herrara did well! (scraping the barrel for a positive)

It must do a strikers head in the way we play. Get tons of balls pumped up when they're static with their back to goal and then when they actually make runs we decide to be conservative and keep ball.

I don't want him out. I think you'll agree things are beginning to get alarming though.

Same old, same old.Strikers making runs while those behind them piss about with the ball.Nobody accepting responsibility or taking a chance playing a ball in.

Formation me arse-nobody having any heart, urgency on the ball or pace in thought or action is a bigger problem.

As for Antonio Fucking Valencia - where attacks go to die!!

No. I'm putting my blinkers on and sticking my fingers in my ears until all the bad people go away.

Even though it was only a League 2 team, the result was not good enough and there were still serious problems, I enjoyed that second half more than any in the last while. There was actually some nice link-up play going on for a while.

I thought Januzaj did well in patches. Di Maria was maybe our most consistent attacking player. Falcao still looked to be getting into the right areas all the time. The back four, especially Jones and Rojo, looked like they were well in sync defensively. Although Jones gave the ball away too easily. Carrick and Fellaini were poor in the middle, not enough movement or authority in possession. I don't remember Wilson doing very much.

I really hope LVG sticks with the four at the back for a while now. Let the team try to get into the groove with it.

LvG out is nonsense. But he needs to have a root and branch clearout of dross that can't play simple 5 yard passes or can't do what he wants them to. If we're still playing poor football after that then it's on the manager.

Definitely one of our worst performances of the season but then again I'm saying this every week. Phil Jones was absolutely septic! A virus to any defense. Falcao gets more a week than what it cost to put the Cambridge team together. Utterly depressing.

    We need stability.

    Changing players , formations etc.
Maybe LVG just needs to pick 11 and stick with them

There have been a lot of injuries , but need to get a settled team now

Falcao is wasted at United atm. All them great runs and no one to put him in. Of course people will call him a flop but he is doing what he did everywhere, just United cant make anything for him.

Watch our home game to Fulham last year and come back and say that.

that was just piss poor, no excuses, it's a bleedin league 2 side, they should be dispatched with ease by a team of fit, professional premier league footballers.

people "taking positives" are just being blinkered - there ARE no positives there, simply should be beating dross like that.

It's hard to remember a game when we really played well, with good pace, positive passing and created a lot of chances.

I can't understand how the players are unable to think for themselves while the games are going on. Like does Phil Jones ever think "maybe I'll just give the ball early to one of the other players and stop taking three touches into midfield and passing out the guy I should give the ball to..".

LVG has enough credit in the tank on his career to be given the time to get this going but there is too much emphasis on taking that soft option when passing the ball. It's suffocating the forward players.

I said it before that you can't play Carrick and Fellaini in the same midfield - in an ideal world you wouldn't play either.

So you want a spoofer to remain in charge of the team?

This just in: second richest club in the world makes more money than a league 2 side.

    Thanks Geoff.

    How the mighty have fallen

I'm not sure why, but I get a strong feeling that you support a team who are currently below United in the league, yet you still post this? :pac:

It's that the football is so dull and unattractive. Not the United way."

The style of football Utd have produced over the last 5 years has been in a steady decline .

Even before Ferguson left the team were poor to watch away from home, largely grinding out narrow victories in a boring manner.

The United way has been gone for along time ,even the team that reached the Champions league final in 2011 played football that wasn't easy on the eye especially away from home .

Utd this season have been poor away from home in almost every match ,I cant remember one convincing away performance .

The fact that the defence is so poor is convincing Van Gaal that he cant play 4-4-2 that often or play in an open manner.
He is propagating conservative defensive football where the onus seems to be primarily not to concede .
That is not the Utd way .
Utd of the last few seasons have reminded me of Benitez's Liverpool ,awful to watch .

    What was yours?

I get paid more than it cost to put that team together. The cost zero.
