After the MK dons game alot of players never played again hopefully the same happens now for players like Valencia.

Would you throw in Jones & Carrick there as well? Jones passing is horrendous

The negativity and hyperbole will be intolerable for the next week.

You don't think a bit of negativity is to be expected after that ninety minutes of absolute drivel?

I watch a lot of premier league. United are in the bottom 4 or 5 sides in terms of creativity and attacking threat.

Laborious, slow to get anything going, everything going backwards, playing world class players out of position, playing average players out of position, hoofing the ball, having one of your biggest set piece threats TAKING set pieces.

I'll say it again, worse than alot of what I saw under Moyes and he hadn't the likes of Falcao and DiMaria.

There's plenty to be negative about and every bit of it is warranted.

Huge decision needs to be made regarding LVG's position, do the board give this spoofer another 150 million to squander?

If we had 10 more minutes of Herrera on the field we might have got a goal. Wake up Louis, no excuses

The one time the ball was passed forward with pace there was a decent chance created, great save by the keeper to keep it out.

    Fair play to Cambridge though.

I hate playing those teams. They always dig in and have 10 mean behind the ball busting their balls.

No purpose going forward, hoping we get lucky from crosses

    We are a poor team

Jones was utterly shocking in possession
Valencia is probably a nice lad but he is a horribly limited footballer who apart from having decent pace, does not belong in a Utd team. To his credit, he defended ok when called upon.
    Di Maria was average
Januzaj was poor/average and improved slightly in the 2nd half.
Falcao was ok but had 0 service
    Wilson was non existent
    Fellaini was poor
    Carrick was average.
    Blind was ok

    On the good
I thought Herrera looked decent when he came on. What the hell does this lad have to do to get a game!!
Rojo was solid as a rock and is fast becoming our no.1 centre half(not that it would be hard)
DDG could have stayed at home

    MK Dons, Leicester, Cambridge.

Some seriously woeful shít served up in those matches this season.

A replay isn't the end of the world if it's another chance to bed in the diamond again. You'd hope that is stuck with at least. But the performance tonight was dreadful. No tempo to the play whatsoever. Numerous players had shockers and it wasn't because of the demands of the system. Happy Friday everyone!

Of course there will be negativity. Ok take out the word. Makes me look like I think that was an ok oerformance.

It wasn't. It was awful. So many passes misplaced.
But the hyperbole from the usual suspects is the annoying thing

I wonder how many times spoofer will be thrown around.

Saidy Janko would have done better at RB today. Should recall Varela from Madrid B too

Even if you think Carrick was poor today, I didn't, he has surely built up enough goodwill to not be ousted after one match?

What happened to the Valencia of 2010/2011? He looks half the player. He also looks about 2 stone heavier than then and a bit slower. He looks like a cruiserweight boxer these days.

Edit: Just checked his weight there. He is 78kg, apparently, and Januzaj is 75kg. Go home weighing scales, you're drunk.

York City,Exeter City,MK Dons and now Cambridge Utd,

Utd are very good at helping out lower league teams.

Be some piss up tonight in Cambridge though.

And how long have we been saying this, for years now. Yet he still plays

Herrera was on the pitch for a few minutes and instantly put in better crosses

Blind was equally as bad on the left. Had 2 or 3 excellent chances to put in good crosses and didnt

Hate the word "spoofer", mainly because I've noticed it's common usage among certain posters I've had to "deal" with. :P

Shaw should have come on earlier and that should have seen Blind moved into the middle to help Carrick.

ander herrera plays a lot more positive and looks more comfortable on the ball. I understand how fellaini got ahead of him today but he should be starting most games.

Also I have to add, Di Maria was horrendous today. He hasn't been himself recently

Confidence is very low by the looks of it in this squad. We've a very fragile bunch of players by the looks in more ways than one

LVG won't get sacked on this game alone. At the end of the day, Cambridge were always going to get 9-10 men behind the ball but we controlled the game in the second half and had a few decent chances to win it.

Not everything can be placed on Van Gaal. The lack of players going on creative runs is baffling and as a result we seem to pretty much attack as we are in our formation and it's just so predictable, slow and easy to stop even for a League 2 side. Carrick, Fellaini, Blind, Valencia all looked completely disinterested tonight.

I'm pretty certain that the reason some players are not going on creative runs is because they are being told to maintain possession even if it means going sideways/backwards.

Having said that, Falcao is making some incredible runs but no one is picking him up. At all.

A tweet from someone that sums up the way I feel about it:

"The worse thing isn't losing or drawing, that's life.

It's that the football is so dull and unattractive. Not the United way."
