what type of paint for fresh plaster

    getting painter in to paint newly plastered walls. he recommended a vinyl matt but shops are telling me a flat matt is way to go. anyone know difference?
    its just being used for ceilings, coving and base coat of walls.

    Flat matt paint and watered down. The amount you water it down depends on the paint, but about 30% water 70% paint is a good rule of thumb.

    Its called a mist coat, have to do the same myself this week!

    Tip: hire a sprayer ! We are building at the moment and sprayed the ceilings and walls .. Far nicer finish than the roller
