Emirates and Qantas Card

Hi All,

I have a Qantas cash card and I have emirates skyward miles.
can I transfer my miles onto my Qantas card as I would like to use them to book a hotel through Qantas.

Anyone know if this is possible?

No, its not possible to transfer the points. They are two separate airlines and two separate programs.

Thanks, the reason I was asking is because I applied for my frequent flyer card through emirates and I got the Qantas one which I find strange!

Try using FlyerTalk or a similar flying or points based forum. Boardsies there will often have innovative ways to use or transfer - I have seen some people transferring through a number of programmes to achieve what could not be achieved directly.

I suggest you signed up to the wrong program in error. They both a similar red colour scheme and the skywards name could really be any airline

There are no"tricks" to transferring miles with Emirates unfortunately. I've done the research online and made the phone calls previously as I logged my miles to the wrong account.

Part of the Emirates business model that they are an independent airline, and as such are not part of a global alliance such as OneWorld or *Alliance or Skyteam. Therefore none of the usual tricks will work. Qantas do have a special partnership with Emirates but this does not extend to a linkage between FF programs and the transfer of points.

Thanks im just not sure what I have done wrong, I have the Qantas card but skyward points but I don't have the skywards card??? strange.
