    Yup, grew up in a large house with no heating bar 1 open fire in the main room. So I over compensate for that now.

    Will it be embarrassing to be the last person to post in this thread before it dies?

    Yes, had one for a few years and passed my test. Really miss having a bike now that I think about it.

    actually love connemara, especially when weather is good, clifden/ rounstone, away from it all

    no.. but a few weeks back flying out, a couple in their 60s getting bag searched, and search officer refused to let them bring handcuffs in their bag:p

    I had a blood soaked tshirt in my bag once and was praying it would not get searched. Was on the batter the previous night.

    Does Jet lag effect you? (or is that 'affect',....I can never remember)

    Intermittently, yes. But have not been on a plane since October last so am in a good place!
