    used toll-tag device on non-toll registered car... (reg car not available) - seemed to go fine, got the nice beep as i drove under the gantry, and my account was debited... any comments?

    Ring eflow and check, in case you end up with a fine in the post.

    It's unlikely that they would be able to tally the number plate recognition with the tag. So you may end up with the tag registering and also the number plate going through as two transactions.

    But best to check with them.

    When I was changing cars last, I had a few different temporary ones but I just rang them with the new reg each time and they paired the tag there and then.. no hassle/fee involved

    After many times of being forcefully caught behind or tailgated by NI cars going through M1 fast lane I went to building to complain. I found out that the tag beeping doesnt necessarily meant it has worked just to register the signal which I thought weird, use the pay lanes now with no bother.
