infra red on sky eye not working

Since upgrading to a sky HD box my sky eye has stopped working. I was aware of the lack of rf2 outputs on box so purchased a tri link rf modulator and ac power source adapter from tv trade and connected to other tv 's. The sky eye works in so much as it transfers the picture via cable to external tvs but it won't light up…

Any ideas? I also had a spare eye which I have used to no.avail. Model is proception pro sat.

It's definitely the Triax Tri-Link you bought, not 1 of the IO links?

Are you sure you used the output on the triax with the 9 volts?
