    Very tempted by Kane

Sunderland were terrible against Pool last week

    Yet only conceded one...

Definitely not captaining Kane and I hope the masses do. I really think he'll be a 2 point scorer this week. Tottenham's home form is poor and I just have a hunch that Sunderland might have one of their heroic defensive displays. (I also have Panti and PVA and this may be clouding my judgement).

There's only 1 other person going for Ings?

I would but he's my striker that's making way for Kun

Got him in as 2 week punt before I sell him for Aguero. Would captain him if Palace hadn't changed managers but I think they will be harder to break down now.

I don't have Aguero until next gameweek, so Kane. Based on different polls, there will be far too much damage done if I don't captain him and he pulls in a haul.

I think that's more to do with Liverpool than Sunderland ;)

Genuinely surprised at how few people are choosing Hazard here. I think I'll be going for him. I also own Aguero and Kane but actually don't see Aguero starting this one either, and even if he does, I just don't see the blitz happening just yet.

Spurs are...well...Spurs!! Couldn't captain one of them.

I trust Hazard with this one. Chelsea won 4-2 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season too . . .

You're tempting me to go with Hazard as my last punt. I've just been going with the polls lately and it hasn't been working.

After this week, Aguero will be pretty much on default so Hazard could be one last throw of the dice.

    Aguero
I've gone with a very scientific poll for this one.
I randomly assigned each of Kane, Hazard and Aguero a number between 1 and 10 and asked the missus to pick numbers until she picked one of the 3 assigned.

Aguero, number 2, was picked first.

    Aguero it is!! Maybe!!

Your missus could be told to pack her bags if Aguero goes off injured after 5 mins now.

I prefer home captains and Kane fits the bill of: in form, picks up bonus when he scores, playing against relegation threatened team. Hazard is a good pick, but I have Downing VC for similar reasons to Kane.
I am surprised that Kane and Aguero are the two major picks here and on FFS; would have thought it'd be more spread out like GW17.

Not sure I can bring myself to captain Kane. Just don't trust Spurs. Sunderland at home is the type of game they could easily go and lose 1-0. Think Hazard or Costa might be better bets.

Interesting post, but I don't think it will put me off Kane(c)

I have both pva glue and panti bliss so I don't think I will captain Kane this week in the hope he doesn't do too much damage. Will go for aguero

Spurs notoriously too unreliable to put all my eggs in the Kane basket

I'm really struggling here. Don't have Kane or Aguero.

Don't really want to captain Ings, Rooney, Sanchez (tough fixture). That leaves Hazard and Costa (away to Swansea) or Silva (home to Arsenal). And not really convinced by any of those.

I'd go Sanchez or Hazard from those options. I'll probably be going with Aguero but I think those two could do well. City have been poor at the back and Sanchez is a real handful. Swansea have not been defending well either.

Well, what I meant was I feel Costa or Hazard are more likely to score than Ings, so I feel I'd go for one of those over Ings.

Did Pellegrini mention anything about Aguero in his presser today?

I think I might go with Hazard. He's only blanked once in his last 6 games. And he has 2 goals and an assist in his last 3 away games (including a goal against the best defence in the league).

Some of the comments on the forum about being better off sticking with the same captain most weeks have struck a chord here.

    Aguero
Tempted to go with Downing. West Ham should beat Hull fairly handy and he will more than likely play a part in setting up the goals/getting them.
