TV3 were just on the phone with me about it being on the 5:30 news. Will be interesting to see how 'Daily Mail-ish' they go with it.

I assume you'll be recompensed? at the very least be credited with shooting the footage?

That ryanair go-around on the indo page also looks interesting to say the least!

Another crazy day in Ireland. Never get to see this kind of action in TFS. The odd GA and some diverts. I think June last year was the last time we had a bit of trouble with a sustained period of GA's and diverts. Weather was great to the layman, but problematic to aircraft.

I flew in to DUB last night at 23.40 with FR. Some GAs before it, but we got down. I have to admit it was bloody exciting stuff. PAX screaming too. Final approach was like a bucking bronco! Just missed the real serious stuff. Really didn't want a GA or diversion at that time of night.

    BTW, its friggin cold here!

Can anyone give me info on EI169, I have to collect freight from it. Has it gone around twice?

    EI169 Is very determined anyway!
I assume after the third missed attempt they will need to divert?
And it will also be shannon in the event of a diversion?
