Not as cheap but an alternative if you missed out on the aldi bargain.

Beware folks there's 2 ladders one over 3 metres when fully extended and the other over 2 metres when fully extended... both are 29.99 now... I nearly bought the shorter in graigcullen in carlow. Other store in carlow had longer one... who says size doesn't matter... ;)

Don't think the Finglas ones are the fold up combi ladders. I was out there on Monday evening and they had none left and none out back according to a member of staff. They had some other ladder there but not a combi.

It definitely is as I bought one! They had the other one there also. And a loft ladder.

Picked one up today (about 2.30pm, €39.99) but as far as I could see it was the last one......
unless they have some in the back?! Might be worth asking....

Rang ALDI this morning and was told no stock anywhere in Dublin. Just picked one up in Bray and still about 8-9 left (€39.99).

I picked one up in Tallaght yesterday and there were a few left around 4.30pm.
If I couldn't get an Aldi one, I was heading to Maplin in Blanchardstown to pick one up from them.
Can't post a link but it's reduced on their UK website for £39.99. It also has a platform.
When I rang them, the euro price I was quoted was €52.
    Not a bad alternative IMO.

Thinking of bringing mine back to Claremorris if anyone wants it. Platform is a bit high at 900mm for what I wanted it for. I'm assuming it can't be used at anything less than 900mm? I haven't opened it, but can't see how it could be adjusted any lower.

Was in Drogheda today and no price reduction on this ladder.. Were these marked on offer or did they scan in cheaper?

Down to three now - I had bought two (one for myself and the other for the parents) earlier that morning.

Tried it out and it works great.

@Qwerty - can confirm that in platform mode it's the one set height.
