3 seater berlingo or partner van

I'm thinking of trading down my beloved xtrail for a small van.

Anyone here drive either of these 3 seater vans??
Thinking of a 2010-11 90 bhp model.

Wondering about fuel economy, reliability.

Comfort is important as I spend 2-3 days a week out on the road. Do about 30-40 k km's a year. X trail is doing 38 mpg averaged over a month.

Xtrail has been great over 3 years but fed up of high tax, €900+ is just madness.

My only wonder is any saving will be wiped out with a loan for 2-3 years so should I just stick with my xtrail, 175k km's on the clock. And I just love driving it.

A van is never going to be as comfortable to drive as a car. Also trading to save money on motor tax is a false economy, what it will cost you to trade will take along time to make back via motor tax savings.

Yea I was saying that above, Any savings will be wiped out.
Might be as well just drive on what I have for another year or two.

Maybe a commerical X-Trail though changing for the sake of it could be risky as in you could be buying someone else's trouble whereas you know your own car is running fine.

Two seater commercial is out of the question as I'd need third seat.
