Hiya, i have a Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus 4 months and its always asking me to boost as its low in ram and needs to be cleaned. I put a new 16GB memory card into it last week and transferred all my photos over to the new card, cleaned up the apps and removed some apps that I wasn't using. Now I'm still getting this message up. My husband has the same phone for over a year and he's only ever been asked once to clean up the phone. Can anyone advice on what I can do?

Do you have a lot of apps downloaded on it?

The phone only has 768mb of RAM and a dual-core CPU so it will be quite slow in general, especially after a few months of using it.

Hi Sam Mac, i took alot of apps off it, apart from the standard ones that are on it already, i've added facebook, messenger, skype and about 3 others. surely with a bigger memory card it would work a bit quicker. Is there a way you can put the apps on the memory card?

Some apps can be moved to the SD card, some cannot.

    Hold up there!
When you say "getting a message" - are you sure it's from the phone and not some malware program?
That sounds to me like malware, which would explain why your phone is sluggish.
I would consider a paid app that protects against malware - if indeed it is malware.
