    Hi Guys

upc just replaced my wireless router with a Technicolor TC7200.

    I find everytime I do a speedtest.net I get a different speed.

Am just wondering should I change the default settings
I find I have to turn the router off and back on when it gets slow

The wifi in that is junk - I'd suggest buying a secondary router and disabling the internal wifi.

I had the same issues the first couple of days, then it settled down. Wait a day or two and see what happens.

Have you tried it with a direct cable connection, or only wifi? I agree the wifi range isn't great, but it is stable for me.

There's a big thread in the broadband forum on bridging the TC7200 if you need to add another wifi router.

Also use speedtest.upc.ie instead for testing speed.

speedtest.net can be very variable when testing high speed broadband products.
