Rogaine - cheaper source?

    I use this for chronically thin hair. It does work - whenever I stop using it the hair starts to fall out again.

    My very sparse hair is a family curse and several of my female relations use wigs or tightly-clipped styles to conceal their visible scalps...I think they call this Female Pattern Balding *shudder*

    Anyway the Rogaine does work and I have no ill effects from it but it is VERY DEAR

    Does anyone know of a cheaper way? had any luck with buying online? Is generic unbranded "Minoxidil" just as good (I bought some in a chemist in Spain once, for one-third the price)

    Or maybe there's a chemist here in Dublin who has it cheaper...the last bottle I bought was 55 Euros. That is steep.

    Any ideas, anyone?

    Does the Rogaine actually make more hair grow?

    I come from a bad hair family too, so I feel your pain :(

    I get 3 months supply from my chemist for E75, I bargained with her,it's about E84 normally,for a box of 3, I asked her if she could do better though and she did, maybe shop around ?.
